You are correct about the 13 inch shoes. I have come to learn that 12.125 x 2 inch shoes are not the size of shoe itself.
The 12.125 refers to the diameter of the drum while the 2in refers to the width of the liner on the shoe.
The 13 inches reference above was the actual length of one of the shoes that I measured on the rear.
