Here you go George, the Dmax really didn’t get hurt that bad. When they crashed into me, I literally thought they just destroyed the whole side of the truck...the crash was violent but maybe it just felt like that because I was travelling at highway speed in the dark. Like I didn’t see them coming until they hit me. Damage is isolated to the LF corner other than my wheel & mirror. Looks pretty minor but front bumper is trash, the support behind the bumper, LF fender damage, there’s a panel above the bumper that’s damaged...hubcap gone. My guess is probably $15k damage by the time a shop finishes with it. The other thing is when she was turned sideways in front of me I just got showered with rocks & parts. Is there other damage? Who knows...probably. That’s what pisses you off.
Here’s a pic...not bad considering the what happened here. I had to send the police a bunch of pictures for their file since it was dark when it happened. I’ll ask the police if they have a picture of the other vehicle...it was scary & shocking they were alive. They took a tree out & there were clothes & belongings hanging 30’ high in the trees. Just seriously their lucky day I tell you.
