Hi Geoff, they may not be the same supplier but who knows. At this point it's a puzzle. The holes in the vent frame lined up fine, didn't seem to be any damage to it and the door seems fine, doesn't seem to be any damage there so the only thing at this point seems to point to the weatherstrips. I guess I should have compared before I installed, but I didn't anticipate any issues. However, I have a solution - RTV Silicone, which will hold the rubber against the door frame until I need to remove the vent again - see image. I have some trimming to do, but at this point it takes care of the issue. You may want to have some handy in case you run into the same issue. Thanks for responding!!!
