I'm not familiar with the one wire either, so what you're saying is the diode is built into the switch? I think the reason his instructions say to connect the white wire to the "+" side of the coil would be to break the circuit when the engine is off since the big red wire of the two wire connection is connected to the bat. This would prevent energizing the alternator until the vehicle is started and also prevent battery drain?? The black wire from the regulator would not be used, it would just be taped off. Pictures would certainly be helpful. Thanks Tom!
