if it was a military contact maintenance truck it would have had a large utility box with an on board welder/generator and aircompessor with a fancy two lever pto made by davey co with a three v belt drive off the transfer case. there were two vairients originally on an m series chassis, then post war on the pw 126 chassis i have had both, and my pw version had the military standard light switch and was a 24v truck
