First the great news and pics coming! I got the flywheel, clutch and transmission mounted on the engine yesterday and all of it mounted in the chassis and the Transfer case mounted this morning! HORRAY!
2 question for you folks.
1. does the throwout bearing spring attach to that bolt with the holes in it that sticks down through the rear of the bell housing?
2. I would like to eliminate the intake manifold heat section on the exhaust manifold, my truck will only be driven in warmer temps and never in anything like winter. My thoughts is to build a thin piece of sheet metal and just cap it off on the exhaust manifold using some high heat sealer and the 4 bolt that run through it to attach it to the intake manifold. Do you see any problems with this?
