I believe he wanted to switch to a carryall due to a growing family, and being less nuts than the rest of us, he moved the diesel drivetrain over to a different vehicle rather than build another cool truck.
The Carryall he built I’m sure got wrecked and Alx64 bought it sans drivetrain and added his ultra-cool skills to build one of the coolest vehicles I’ve ever seen (online).
