I thought I'd post this because with all the craze these days being restomods...this in my mind is what a restomod is.
I'm just so sick of seeing like a Bronco with a modern coyote engine, seats out of a mustang, some idiotic looking roll bar & tires that are 4" wider than the body...oh...I forgot...the big tires don't fit in the back...pass me the sawsall! "Don't worry, we'll stick that rubber fender flare on...nobody will notice!"

So my idea of a restomod is a "resto" restoration to new condition including underneath, 'mod' modified to perform better than it did when it was built however to the untrained eye, looks like it came from the factory like that. So maybe a different powerplant that's properly adapted to look like the era of the vehicle, possibly modified suspension fabricated to look factory correct...maybe an altered interior with period pieces.

So this below is my idea of a restomod done correctly...and great value I might add if you're in the market for a Ford :)
I have nothing to do with this car or owner...just an admirer of good work. So he's changed the dash, the whole interior, the motor highly modified, paint & body look perfect & to the untrained eye...probably win at a lot of car shows.
I know this is controversial & every man has his own idea & if your ok with a Power Wagon with Escalade seats...I'm ok with that...just not my meek opinion of tasteful :) :)
