You have a plug with square hole on the drivers side of the TC, that's the filler plug, fill between plug hole level to 1/2 inch below.
I would change the oil if it is black, otherwise the oil level is below the driven shaft bearing level. Some may drain out from the bearing, just wipe it off.
Two sides of the seal?? The side that has the spring is the side that faces the TC as you drive it in.
250 torque pounds for the nut. You need to check for any side play in the shaft once the drum is bolted on. Also you should apply some silicone between the nut washer and drum to seal oil in. Go to PIF, group 28, "nn", page 21-3 for image.
