Jerry, what is funny they are big bracers here in Texas and laughed at when the grid in the Northeast went out, saying Texas has their own and docent need to worry about sharing with others or get taken off line because of other states.
Look who's laughing now.....I was with out power for 3 days, got into winter camping mode, and kept on with life. I winter camped with mo tent inside the "Blue Line" just dig a trench in snow and lay a fly in then bag and cover with fly, letting snow cover in the trench keeping tasty warm.
I remember when I was about 10 we had 3 foot snow at home and road was closed for couple days till they needed to get to our farm and others to get milk out to supply stores.
If this generation was around in the 40's we will be speaking German and not able to chose who we had as a leader, one of Uncle Adolf's cronies will lead us.....Ray
