My daughter moved to Austin a year ago. She can’t believe how things have shut down. She says they have no clue how to drive in icy or snowy conditions. She has been out of power for an extended time. However she took her generator with her when she moved. It’s been running close to 24 hours a day. She also said that she is so glad that I taught her how to handle power outages as we had many when she was at home. She also said she is glad I thought her how to be prepared and react to adversity.
