1957 Dodge Power Wagon Town Wagon. Three owner truck. Original Colorado vehicle - still in Colorado.

This is an original orange-and-white truck, and originally delivered with a 315 Poly V8 & 4-speed transmission. Factory Braden PTO winch and bumper. Correct Budd 17.5" wheels are present and wear street-tread Michelins.

This is an unrestored vehicle, but it has been maintained to an extremely high standard throughout it's life; the pictures bear this out and I have stacks of receipts as a testament to that. The previous owners also made several modifications to the truck in the name of practical use: Custom-made oversize fuel tank, trailer hitch, accessory backseat heater, and lots of shag carpet to keep road noise and heat at bay. A 360ci truck engine replaced the tired 315 in the late 70's. Plaid/shag interior likewise is a 70's throwback.

The body on this truck is amazing for it's age. There was rust over the rear wheel lips and outer wheel houses when I bought the truck. That corrosion was cut out and professionally replaced with all-new steel, and this truck is now 100% rust-free. The truck is on it's third paint job, which was last painted in 1984. When the rust was repaired, fresh paint was matched and nicely blended into the existing paintjob. The truck was recently detailed and shines very well, but certainly there are nicks, bumps and scratches as one would expect on a 36-year-old finish.

In the time I've owned it I have done quite a bit to make it a reliable and daily-driveable vehicle around town. It now starts easily, idles smooth, runs strong with no smoke, and drives well. New intake manifold, carb and gaskets. Replaced valve covers. Flushed fuel tank. New fuel pump. New lines to carb. Plumbed in a fuel pressure gauge. New filter. Overhauled distributor. New cap and rotor. New plug wires and plugs. New ignition module. New battery. Flushed radiator, new thermostat. New heater core, new defroster ducting.

Shortcomings? Driver's seat stitching is unraveling one side. Fuel gauge not working reliably. Tires are older. Brakes squeak. Interior may not be to everyone's liking.

I have over 220 pictures of the truck and three videos, please inquire for the links. Thanks.
