My first resto/revival was a Scout. Non runner with issues. That was back when I had no garage. Stretched a tarp over it to rebuild the fuel system and rewire it.
It was a lot of fun. Had a 196 with 3.73 gears. It felt like it would climb a mountain. Iowa doesn't have any mountains, tho.
I never did finish it because the frame eventually broke from all the rust. Well, it might have been the terraces. I'm not sure. But it was a lot of fun.
