Mine is a crash box & to be honest, I can’t tell you what all modifications they made to make it work. The input shaft looked modified to me however I didn’t question it because it was a good runner when I started, I just rebuilt what I had & put her back together.
I’ll climb under tomorrow & take a pic of the casting number if I can see it.
