Are you talking about an M37 PTO that doesn’t have the rear output when you say you need to swap parts between the new and old PTO? I agree that if you have a M37 PTO you should be able to swap out the rear seal/shift bracket from a later PW PTO and replace the output shaft to one for a dual output PTO. You also need to get a NP420 PTO shift lever.
I am not sure if the output shaft is the same between the crash box and NP420 PTO.
When I did my transmission swap in my PW I used the M37 PTO and didn’t worry about the rear output.
