The repair manual for that transmission is TM 9-2520-232-35, check with VPW or MWM for a copy, no known on-line copy to view. Your PTO will not work, the NP has a different housing and idler gear, lever. You will also need the M37 hand brake lever assembly that bolts to the transmission. You'll need a later floor transmission cover from a late 56 FFPW to X3-WM300 or M601/615, VPW can help with that. The late spur gear is a strong transmission along with the NP420, biggest gain is part availability and synchronized 3rd/4th.
