As a means of making more cab room has anyone tried modifying the seat bottom and back by replacing the springs w high density foam on a plywood base. A friend has an upholsterer who removes several inches from both while maintaining the look. Of course, for near $2000 Youtube has videos of building a foam seat. I just don't can't sew.
