you can put tracks on, but I am not sure about chains. the seller had argos with tracks and tires and suggested tires for plowing. with the 23hp engine and plow we should be OK with 6 tires. we added a sander to the back. it will be fun figuring it out. my dodge diesel megacab with plow was pretty useless due to the length (can't make the turns) and the driveway is crowned. the large plow cleared the middle strip but left the sides unplowed.
