In short, no. The third member has a gravity fed oil passage inside that lubricates the front pinion bearing. If you invert the third member that system will no longer work, and you'll burn up the front bearing.
The easiest solution is to install a center output yoke from a 6x6 transfer case. They are not hard to find.
