The kid has the determination and drive. I'm just looking for a means to foster his interests and develop his talents. You are right about letting him make the choice and purchase himself. Anything else would result in failure. But he's already got my PWs in his blood so this would be a way to build up slowly w a truck that can be worked on, worked hard, but still maintain some value.
