On a recommendation, I emailed the sales Team at carcovers.com. Since they did not have a listing for a 59 Townie. I sent them a set of measurements. It was determined that this would require a custom made size and the price would be in the $800 to $900 dollar range. I backed off and found that they had a cover on the shelf for a 59 Suburban and I ordered the Platinum cover for about $250 with cables and shipping included. I had to take the spare tire and holder off the back door and fold in the mirrors, but the cover fits very good. The outside appears to be 100% polyester with a very thin fleece like inside covering. It is made in China of course. It took two of us about 15 minutes and two ladders to get it on but so far so good. Carcovers.com did an excellent job of staying in contact with the shipping information and follow-up. I don't know how long this one will last but it looks well made and I am relieved to have a little more protection from the elements. I am not sure on a way to post pictures here or I would have a snapshot posted.
