The easiest way to adapt a early hemi to a PW
is to find an early 315 PU truck engine with
a four speed (NP420) and use the bell housing clutch and flywheel. Those 315 blocks are the same as the 315 hemi block so bell housing are the same with the correct depth for the NP420
input. You will have to fabricate mounts and if a car engine have the crank drilled for the pilot bushing.
