No real reason to put it on jack stands if your talking Michelin tires. If your running bias tires, I would be more inclined to use jack stands.

I have had my trucks sit for 6 months with out any problems. It might be a little bumpy, if you try to imagine it, for the first block or so. To me it’s not worth the effort, plus if I need to get the truck out of the way I just start and go.

My problem with the trucks sitting has been either battery or fuel evaporation. I have to watch the WC53 battery because of the alarm system and other electronics that seem to be always drawing power. It’s mainly the alarm system. The PW with the 6 volt battery can go forever and start right up if the fuel hasn’t evaporated out of the carb.
