They’re good trucks for what they are...daily drivers. The thing that bothers me about the marketing is that was never what the Power Wagon was. It was a farm utility truck that seldom left the property. The closest vehicle to a Power Wagon in 2020 is a Unimog & Chrysler hasn’t made anything even close since 1968.
There’s nothing wrong with that...it just bugs me they’re trying to profit from their earlier success without putting in the work.
You watch...Ford will be pulling the same BS with the Ford Bronco. They have a following now & so some bean counter will see the need to profit from that success. Kinda like the GTO in the 2000’s lol.
You know...Ford has fairly successfully revived the Mustang & don’t get much credit for it.
I’m not a mustang guy but I’d hazard a guess that the new mustangs are the best they’ve ever made & kids love them...that’s what it’s all about. Getting youngsters attached.
