I think I used the guts from a late model 440 distributer in a 392 hemi and used the chevy 4 plug controller that sits under the chevy cap. It was not hard to do - but i had access to all the bits and pieces and a pile of dodge distributers at my disposal. It worked fine and the coil was not in the cap. None of the Dodge baliist resistor or control module stuff was used either . There must be a few examples on how to do this on the internet.
