You should be able to accomplish what you want using microlam beams. Standard garage door is 9 feet, no magic framing those. I have a section on my shop that is a pole barn. Its bays are 8' wide. A Power Wagon fits through but I feel like I am threading the needle each time. Can you go any wider?
