Front axle bushing installation

I am about to install new bushings and seals in my front axle. I see a nice picture in the shop manual of a bushing driver, and quite sure my tool box does not contain such a fine tool.

Anyone have suggestions on how to get the bushings in straight? Maybe it is not as difficult as I expect, but getting the old ones was more of a challenge than Imagined.
