I'd like to address this issue of the folding tape. We work very hard to go the extra mile for our customers and don't want ANYONE dissatisfied with our product or company. The issue of the tape has come up a couple of times and we've always worked to address issues. The spring steel these days just isn't as strong as the originals. We've contacted manufacturers and get no answers. We orginally worked with blue carbon steel which is more ridged, but folks really wanted stainless. We have now been able to incorporate the extra strip down the middle like the originals for that extra ridgity and are absolutely willing to work with folks. So if you'd like to send us the regulator you purchased please contact us and we can make arrangements.
