Go to the link below. Scroll about 1/8 of the way down the page to the section titled "Oil Seal Conversion, by number, size, and type, to National." There you will find three different National oil seals that will fit correctly inside the original outer seal retainer, as well as one CR seal, as well as shaft repair sleeves, one each from National and CR.

No need to reinvent the wheel. This information has been right there in print since 2/17/2006. The part numbers and company names may have changed in the years since, but the dimensions are still valid for a modern cross-reference. Compare the dimensions of the National and CR seals to the CR seal that you found at Motion Industries. All five are only .004 of an inch larger in diameter than the modern one you found at Motion. Once you remove that old inner seal from the retainer (which was never meant to be removed in the first place) that extra .004 inch of material will help to assure that the new seal will remain in place. Also note that with by going with a manufacturer other than CR that this opens up additional options of different lip types and materials as well as thicker widths to better match the old original Dodge seal.

Don't overlook Phil's t137 site for information. A lot of people have compiled a lot of valuable information over the years after exhausting research - just like Vaughn has with his PIF. Phil has been gracious enough to devote time, money, and energy to documenting and storing that information to give back to the community.
