I don't have a picture hosting account currently but it is not exactly two transfer cases. I have a kit from off road design in colorado called a magnum box. It actually used the planetary gear set from a new process 241 in a custom case. The kit included an adapter to a married np205 transfer case and an upgraded 2" input shaft. My 4bt cummins had a ford adapter so I used a 4x4 t-19 transmission with a round pattern output. Because the magnum box was custom built to order it makes for a simple way to marry a ford transmission to a dodge (passenger drop) np205. The entire assembly is probably a bit shorter than the original divorced setup.

The gearing is really nice because of the limited rpm range of the 4bt. One thing about a diesel I have noticed on slow crawling is that the diesel idle is a super steady 850ish rpm and braking will not slow it. This doesn't sound like much but next to a 230 that will idle down to 500-600 rpm pretty easy that is a roughly 50 percent speed increase. Similar to going from 5.86 gears to 10:1 axle gears! The down side is imagine the 300 ft-lbs torque multiplied by all the gearing and if I use it it really torques the engine. I had to really beef up the motor mounts from the diverted case setup because the engine was torqing over so much.
