since SAE adapters are all over for these engines you can run any medium duty 5 or 6 speed. clark, spicer, NP etc. if I ever own a Cummins powered truck I will run a tranny from medium duty. I figure why mess around with weak NV, getrag and ZF 1 ton and under stuff.
