That is not unusual. Sometimes it takes a little bit of time to reset. Start it up and go down the road a little.
One other question, did you put the DEF into the correct hole. If you put it in the diesel fuel tank your in big trouble. If you started the truck you got DEF into the injectors and etc. that is a total engine rebuild. My dealer said they had one person do that and managed to get his insurance company to cover the rebuild.
