Adding caster is what makes the truck want to go straight down the road. Much more pleasurable to drive.

The OE box was the most primitive since they got away from tillers. Zero caster made it easier to turn at low speeds, at the trade off of more wander at high speeds. You don't need that at low speed if you have a PS box.

I milled my own steal wedges, but aluminum ones are available.
