Front knuckle thread repair

Two of the bolts holding the spindle on the knuckle came out hard. My first thought was to chase the threads with a tap.

On second thought, if a Heli-coil, or Keensert type repair is a better option, that is the way to go. Seems like a Keensert is better for high stress situations but I have never seen or used one..

Where are your thoughts or experience regarding this type of repair?
