I actually had the new battery in backwards initially. I've since turned it around.the guages done seem to work either way, though all lights do.

I do have fuel into the carb into the float area. I'm detecting a small fuel leak from the carb so I'm thinking it is time for a rebuild of the Carter Ball and Ball carb. Perhaps this is one of my issues.

Your advice and trouble shooting is appreciated. Hopefully I can get it to fire once again.
