For any of my Power Wagon friends, here is some info on the WV rally. It will be a loose collection of day activities and trail rides from Thursday, October 8 to Sunday, October 11. No registration, no T-shirts, no prizes, no large indoor meals or gathering.
On Thursday and Friday we will meet at my farm in Mount Morris PA to work on trucks and explore 180 acres of hilly terrain and challenging trails. We will order pizza or hit local restaurants in small groups.
Saturday, we will meet at Chestnut Ridge Park in WV and travel to Ohiopyle State Park in PA. We will have a picnic lunch outdoors or small groups can hit the local restaurants. When we get back to Morgantown WV, we will head to dinner at Tropics if outdoor seating is available or folks can go their separate ways for dinner and drinks.
Sunday, we will visit Coopers Rock State Park in WV and hike and enjoy the scenery.
You can camp at Chestnut Ridge or Coopers Rock, or you are welcome to camp on my farm with prior approval. Plenty of hotels in the area.
Again, not your typical rally, but an opportunity to gather relatively safely outdoors in small groups and enjoy our trucks during the peak of fall foliage.
Obviously, if you are experiencing symptoms of anything more than “Dodge Fever” stay home!
