Though there is a long-time, high mileage certification. I don't know if/when it applied to 1 ton trucks.

Maybe a combination of up-coming emmissions tests PLUS the steering column?

Do we have production figures for '68? $100,000 for engineering, plus tooling for the column, for a forcasted sale of 200 trucks for '69?
