I have not seen THAT truck but have seen several just like it that were owned by Pike Electric of Mount Airy, NC. They owned literally hundreds of Power Wagons over the years. Some were like this one but most were just the regular "pick-up" version. Mr. Pike bought many Power-Wagons from Wilkes Dodge Sales in North Wilkesboro, NC. He had them custom painted Federal Yellow at the factory. Once I saw 5 or 6 brand new ones waiting to be picked up at the dealership. When he found out that the one-ton Power-Wagons were going to be discontinued in 1968 he bought 50 of them at one time.
