My WC53 is the same way, from the time we bought it, until now. if it is hot out, over 85 or so. i have problems. over the years we have put in a new motor. gas tank, new lines, fuel pump etc. the truck never overheats. We installed a 7lb fuel pump next to the gas tank, that helps. but only if you catch it before it stalls
On i side note, My WC52 and WC4 never vapor lock, even over 100 outside.....
