i had a WC57 that used to do it in bumper to bumper traffic but I had no heat shield. got pics of fuel line routing? some one posted the insulation wrap and that would probably do it assuming the line is far enough away from the exhaust manifold. my last one I drove 100K miles never did it even offroading in 95 degree whether in 1st and 2nd gear low range for hours. and I dont think it had a heat shield! dont know why that one worked better than the command car.
