My understanding is there are two basic fuel pumps for the flatheads, Carter M2090 for 45 degree block holes and Carter M2091 for horizontal block holes. The Carter M847 is the pump normally used on the 251 - see link, however, the pumps above will also work even though there is a difference in the arms, the difference being, the diaphragm being above the arm or below.
