I have had one I got from Westac maybe 20 years ago on my it is in there external mount on steering column looks just like a cowl light on the column 3500 rpm white face red light was very reasonable has worked flawlessly all these years pretty close to 20. No bouncing it is dead on did not have to drill or cut .
