I hear you guys. I just insulated my barn and put in a mini split heat pump to deal with the humidity here in ME especally a mile from the ocean. Like Bob i couldnt watch my 49 REO Speedwagon and the 60 WM300 just rust.
Added benefit of heat in the winter so no more snow suit wearing to work on the trucks in the winter.. :)
I do have to be carefull in the summer not to get things too cold because if you pull a truck out the humidity instantly condenses on everything metal...
