Hi Vaughn
They are a studded spherical rod end, threaded
and held in place on the shift levers and transfer
case by a nylock nut. The transfer case rail
studs have a screw on eye to accept the spherical rod end. I up graded to 3/4 stock
thread one end left hand the other right hand.
There are jamb nuts at the spherical rod ends.
Loosen the jamb nuts turn the nut welded in
the center of the rod for adjustment and re-
tighten the jamb nuts. I also did as Milo
suggests and drilled and taped for grease zerks. They work like a turn buckle if that makes since.
