Get a helper to sit and work the clutch pedal.
If the rope is on a wooden drum place a pipe
Through the center and support each end so it can unwind.
Go from the top of the wood spool to the top
Of the winch drum slowly winding each layer
as tight as possible by holding onto the cable.
A hammer is handy to tap the wraps together if needed.
If rope is coiled, lay coil on ground while
Unwrapping from the top, using above advice.
Once on the winch drum, if unhappy with results, you can then spool off the cable
Secure it and winch the truck to the secure point.
Use some spray lube on each layer.
