If you followed the post below, others have install a pin different ways. At the link below, there are 5 images of what I did. I used a shaft collar for two reasons:

1. To maintain the integrity of the pin,
2. To facilitate an easy replacement in the future.

I used my favorite cast iron rod, MG250 to weld it up. I'll cut the pin to the proper length and cut a notch a little off center with a forward slant so when I install it, the set screw will pull the pin against the housing. The welding tighten the collar and housing and I had to really wiggle the shaft to get it out, so the new pin will be tight in the pin hole. After some cleaning, cutting off the parking brake mounts, it will be ready for assembly. The complete process will be added to the PIF.
