Leaks out of the flange can be caused by:

- Loose studs,
- Broken studs,
- Nuts not torqued properly,
- raised metal around studs,
- nicks and burrs on the hub gasket surface.

Dozerman51 gave you some good tips to explore.

At the link are images of a hub that leaked. You'll see stressed metal around the studs, shinny areas on the hub gasket surface where I took a file/grinder to true the surface, and stud holes that were chamfered to relieve thread stress using a 1/2 drill bit. The link has several pictures, right click on arrow to see them. The oil seal pops off real easy, just pull on it. After you reassemble, tighten the nuts to 30 ft lbs. PIF has link to oil seal numbers if you need to replace - first page of file. If you need help, post the issue.
