After looking at pictures of 1/2 ton transmissions that people have kindly sent me, I believe that the one that came with the truck now is incorrect because there are no drilled out bosses on the right side of the tower for 2 bolts that secure a triangular plate which holds the 4wd drive lever. I guess any Dodge 4 speed transmission tower of that era would work and someone long ago swapped it in.
Now I am in need of a good rebuidable or refurbished transmission tower that is correct of the Dodge WC 1/2 ton.
