Yes, they are expensive, but there is a lot of work involved in making them to original specs using the original type connections etc. It all takes time and when you do it for a living..... time is $ as they say. I bought a complete wiring harness from Vintage Wiring of Maine. Excellent quality and the installation instructions were second to none. That was over 3 years ago. By the way thanks for the serial number of your truck. As far as the CV joint tag, see if VPW has one lying around or Midwest Military. Perhaps there would be enough interest to make a run of both the Rzeppa tag and the Bendix-Weiss tag.
