For those of you that may wonder how to install a Redi-sleeve on the front/rear knuckle or spindle, here is a DIY tool you can make. Take the two cones and cut off the cage/rollers. Take flat stock and cut two lengths 2.5 inches long. Place the large remaining cone on, then the two flat stock pieces, and then the smaller cone. If the flat stock pieces are not equal in length, the short one will fall off, grind the longer one until both remain on, then tack weld the ends.
The installation tool that comes with the sleeve, you will need to grind a hole large enough to fit over and up to the seal area. Then you can use the DIY tool and axle nut to push the sleeve tool and sleeve onto the spindle. This will allow the sleeve to go on nice and straight.
